Jardines de la Reina National Park
Governor Diego Velázquez named these keys and islets the name of Jardines de la Reina (Queen's Gardens). They include Cayo Caguama (Loggerhead Turtle), off the southern coast of Camagüey, a truly impressive example of lush, untamed nature. The islets have small, sandy beaches, and the surrounding water contains coral reefs -a veritable paradise for scuba divers with some of which go out for 70 km. (nearly 45 miles). Fishermen can fish Tarpon, Palometa and Bonefish. Scuba divers may also hand-feed silky and bull sharks, an experience you will never forget.
