La Mensura National Park
Located in Pinares de Mayarí in Nipe with 5 340 hectares, it has tropical vegetation with the dense forests of pines and archaeological sites, waterfalls that form impressive cascades offering a beautiful view of the Nipe Harbor, the largest in Cuba.
Bariay Bay
It is the place where Christopher Columbus first arrived in Cuba on October 28, 1492, and where the “First encounter between two cultures” took place. The mountains near the bay form a mountain range from the east to the west, standing out among them Gibara and Mezquita de Colon.
